We plan to go to the upper grades softball games at Lindenwood Park! We are hoping to walk down to the fields, eat a lunch and watch the big kids play ball! We will need to pack a cold lunch and drink that day. Students may bring $2.00 only for concession stand treats! These treats are provided by Grace Lutheran School so the money goes back to the school. We hope to enjoy the day and nice weather. If you want to join us you are always welcome to meet us at Lindenwood!!
Go Lions! If you would like to wear a Grace Lutheran Shirt to show your school spirit that would be fine also.

1st & 2nd Grade Fieldtrip Day of Fun to Chahinkapa Zoo!!
The plan for our field trip day of fun to Chahinkapa Zoo in Wahpeton, ND starts off leaving the school at 8:30 to go the carousel and zoo. My co-pilot in the van and trip is Amanda Potter. The fare for the carousel and zoo will come out of the class activity fund. We will need to bring a cold lunch and drink that day. If you would like to send money for the zoo gift shop that is a parent choice.
The zoo staff has asked me to have us at the carousel at 9:45 and then we will have a guided tour for the 1st part of the zoo starting at 10:00. We will more than likely eat lunch and then, I plan to do the other part of the zoo after lunch.
I have 2 checks for the students, one for the carousel and one for the zoo. The zoo people asked for 2 checks.
If you would like to attend this trip you can meet us in Wahpeton at the zoo and carousel. You are very welcome to attend!!
The cost for the carousel is $1.50, for the zoo Adults $9.75, Child (3-12) $7.25. We get a school rate for our class.
I hope they enjoy the day of learning outside the classroom and plan to return about 2:50-3:00!
Don’t forget to practice lines for the Spring Musical! J
